NEW Series! Wild Food Foraging & Potluck with Chad and GreenBee
Did you know that the Sonoran Desert is actually a rich food forest? Meet with Chad Borseth and GreenBee on the first weekend of each month to learn about the plentiful free foods growing around us.
Locations across the series will vary, but this is how we’ll begin:
Saturday, May 2nd
4-7pm
4:30pm wild food tour
5:30pm potluck dinner
This first meet up will be at the GreenBee Gardens where we have the opportunity to see many familiar plants - some may surprise you with their edible leaves, flowers, fruits or seeds!
Bring a meal to share if you'd like to stay for the optional potluck meal after the plant tour
bonus if your meal contribution features some wild food ingredient(s)
$10-20 suggested donation
until things are free, we appreciate your donations that support Chad, our events, and the overall GreenBee mission
no one turned away for lack of funds
So we are prepared for an abundant shared meal, sign up using the below form to let us know you’re coming. And feel free to bring a friend.
Additional planned dates include:
Saturday, June 6th
Saturday, August 1st
Saturday, September 5th
Saturday, October 3rd
Locations and timing for each event will be discussed and decided at the previous event, and then announced here on the website and in our newsletter. So if you’d like to voice your opinion on a day or time, or make a location suggestion, simply attend and let us know.
