NEW Series! Wild Food Foraging & Potluck with Chad Borseth and GreenBee

Did you know that the Sonoran Desert is actually a rich food forest? Meet with Chad and GreenBee on the first weekend of each month to learn about the plentiful free foods growing around us.

On the first of the series, Saturday May 2nd, we’ll spend time wandering around the GreenBee Gardens as an example of how much wild food is available in our nearby urban environments. We’ll also enjoy a community potluck meal highlighting some of these foods.

Our fundraiser with an eco friendly twist includes…

• a demonstration & workshop on how to make your own cat toys using upcycled (basically free) materials

• touring the new Catio

• GreenBee Open Gardens

• one of a kind cat beds as well as cat grass and catnip plants available for purchase

-- proceeds go to the Hermitage Cat Shelter as they care for all of the sweet cats and kitties in need, especially as Spring kitten season is in full swing!
